The MC 5 LR is an agile and compact unit developed for slope consolidation and earth retention projects that involve the use roto-percussion drilling techniques (top hammer) with self-drilling hollow bars. Thanks to its multipurpose design the MC 5 LR can also be successfully utilized in tunnelling, small construction sites as well as quarries for “drill and blast” applications. The MC 5 LR stands out for the agility and stability offered by its extendable and oscillating tracks featuring adjustable front stabilizers, thus adapting optimally to uneven terrain. The heart of the machine is its advanced mast articulation system, supporting an infinite number of mast inclinations and positions.The MC 5 LR also features a special mast structure, made entirely of aluminium, that can be equipped with different types of hydraulic drifters.To ensure easier and safer operation in quarries and construction sites, the MC 5 LR is equipped with the Comacchio radio control system, allowing operators to manage remotely all the machine functions.
