The MC 10 is the latest addition to the Comacchio line-up of drill rigs for vertical applications, a 10t class rig featuring an 8000 daN mast with simplified articulation. The machine can be supplied with alternative rotary heads for open hole rotary and rotary-percussive drilling methods. Thanks to the modular mast construction the rig can be operated both in low-headroom and in open-site conditions.
Operators’ safety and the new European standard EN 16228 were the focus of attention at the recent Intermat show in Paris. Always involved in health and safety issues, Comacchio gave evidence, thanks to the synergy with the historic French dealer Eurofor, of its commitment to providing concrete solutions to the industry’s latest safety challenges.
Comacchio was in the spotlight at the International Foundations Congress and Equipment Expo (IFCEE 2015). The show, that was held in San Antionio, Texas, from March 17 to 21, is one of the major events dedicated to foundation equipment in North America. In collaboration with our US dealers Hammer & Steel and ICE Inc., Comacchio showcased as much as 4 drill rig models for different applications.
Comacchio played a leading role at the recent GeoTHERM show in Offenburg. The event is considered to be the leading European event for geothermal energy. Its opening ceremony saw Comacchio’s endorsed nomination for the European Geothermal Innovation Award 2015, an initiative from the European Geothermal Energy Council (EGEC) in collaboration with Messe Offenburg.
