The CA 3550 is the largest machine in the Comacchio range of drilling rigs designed for water well applications, allowing to reach drilling depths of up to 1,000-1,200 m.

The CA 3550 features a heavy duty undercarriage and a robust structure that ensure stability in all conditions. The rig can provide up to 50,000 daN pull and support all single head rotary and rotary-percussive drilling methods. In particular, the CA 3550 can be set up both for direct rotary drilling with water/mud flushing and for reverse circulation drilling, passing from one set up to the other with minimal variations on the rotary head. The versatility of the CA 3550 is also given by the large number of accessories available, such as clamps, winches, pumps and compressors.
