Double head system

The GEO 602 GT version was designed to meet the needs of customers working in the field of geothermal engineering who wish to utilize a double head drilling system. This rig is particularly suitable for the installation of geothermal borehole heat exchangers in loose rocky terrains and soft soils such as clays and sands. Equipped with a 9500 daN pull mast, the GEO 602 GT incorporates a double head kit which allows for the continuous movement and the counter-rotation of the two strings (rods and casings), providing a torque output on the lower rotary head up to 2400 daNm. The GEO 602 GT can be equipped with rod and casing handling systems that facilitate the loading / unloading operations on site, minimizing processing times.
